Coated titanium electrode, also known as insoluble titanium electrode, is a new type of high-efficiency and energy-saving electrode material. At present, the coated titanium electrode has been widely used in chemical industry, electrometallurgy, textile, petroleum, medicine, light industry, marine environmental protection, water treatment, electroplating, electromechanical synthesis, cathodic protection, Electrodialysis, electrolytic pickling steel plate, metal foil production and other industries. It can be said that the coated titanium electrode may be used in the field of water solution electrolysis.

The coated titanium electrode network mainly includes ruthenium titanium anode network, iridium titanium anode network, and platinum titanium anode network. Compared with traditional graphite electrodes and lead electrodes, titanium electrode network has incomparable advantages:

(1) The anode size is stable, and the distance between electrodes does not change during the electrolysis process, which can ensure that the electrolysis operation is carried out under stable cell voltage conditions;

(2) Low working voltage, low power consumption, DC power consumption can be reduced by 10% -20%;

(3) The anode mesh has strong corrosion resistance and long working life. It can be used for 6 years in the chlor alkali industry, while the graphite anode only lasts for 8 months;

(4) It can overcome the dissolution problem of graphite anode and lead anode, avoid pollution of electrolyte and cathode products, and thus improve the purity of metal products;

(5) The traditional graphite electrode is 8A/d ㎡, while the coated titanium electrode can reach 17A/d ㎡, improving current density and production efficiency;

(6) Easy to process, capable of producing high-precision products;

(7) The matrix metal titanium mesh is insoluble and can be reused after recoating, reducing the cost of electrode use
